Frith Seated hare statue
Hare sculpture, sitting hare, looking back
The sitting hare is a design by Paul Jenkins from Great Britain. He created this sculpture for Frith . The artist excels in sculpting hares in their natural body positions. The prototype, which he set up in wax, is reproduced in cold cast bronze, which is finished and polished by hand. Paul Jenkins' hares all have an abstract fur to emphasize the earthly.
The statue can be indoors or outdoors.

When making sculptures in cold cast bronze, the resin/bronze mixture is poured directly into a mould. This method of production bypasses the lengthy Lost Wax process and is therefore a cheaper alternative to hot cast bronze. The material mixture that Frith uses contains a considerably higher content of bronze powder than commonly used, which means that the sculpture not only has the same color through and through, but also can be placed outside.
