Handmade bronze fish, finished with a patina of Sterling silver. This unique bronze fish is made according to the 'lost wax' method.

In the Lost wax technique, the earthenware mould is broken after use to remove the model from the casting mould and cannot be reused. Minor irregularities or imperfections in the object are caused by the materials used in the traditional alloying and casting processes, which have remained unchanged for more than 2000 years.
Maintenance:
Silver plated bronze should never be treated with silver polishes. Lightly polishing with a soft cotton cloth or sponge is sufficient to refresh the shine. If the pieces are not polished, a discoloration occurs over time, which is often considered even more beautiful.
