Secured environment:
Data that you exchange via the webshop, such as account and payment data, are encrypted via an HTTPS connection, recognizable by a lock preceding the URL. This makes it much more complicated for hackers to "eavesdrop" on the visitor of a website and steal personal data.
Cookies:
We can use Google Analytics to analyse the use by visitors of our websites, so that we can adjust functionalities accordingly. This is done anonymously. We also use social media cookies, such as from Facebook, Twitter and Google to enable the integration of these social media on our websites. Social media
Our website includes buttons to promote ("like") or share ("tweet") web pages on social networks such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter. These buttons work by means of pieces of code that originate from the provider. Cookies are placed by means of this code. Please read the privacy statement of the Social Media providers to read what they do with (personal) data that they process via these cookies. Nowadays Faceboek offers the possibility to view data or have an account deleted. We can contact interested parties via Social Media for advertising purposes.
What do we do with your data?
When you make a purchase, register as a customer, or use a chat program on our website, we save/receive information that you have entered or submitted, such as: E-mail address, your name, invoice and delivery address, telephone number(s), date of birth, gender and order details, but for company purchases also the VAT and Chamber of Commerce number.
If you send us an e-mail or call us, we will keep your e-mail address and telephone number if this is relevant for a (proposed) purchase, for providing further information, or for making offers via, for example, Newsletters. In the webshop software, your order history and visiting moments are automatically saved. We only store relevant information if it was provided voluntarily. When using the chat service, we can see your name and e-mail address, the name of the web browser and device you are using, as well as the IP address and geographical data. This information can be used to answer questions, to improve the effectiveness of the web shop, to inform users about updates regarding an order, to send ordered products, to send periodic newsletters, to ask customers for a review.

About communication by phone:
If you give us your telephone number, our company will only contact you by telephone if this is necessary to inform you about the orders you have placed or about requested information. We will also try to find your telephone number if you do not respond to contact requests related to an order or if there are problems with the delivery of your order. The personal and/or business data that we process as part of our business operations will be used by us or by third parties to deliver your orders, in order to collect claims. (Only for the Netherland: If you choose to pay after delivery, a test will be carried out on the basis of the customer details provided for the purpose of : 1) risk analyses. 2) the prevention and detection of fraud or irregularities, the approval of the chosen payment function.) In addition, customer data are processed in an accounting system, a mailing system for advertising purposes and a system from which evaluation requests are sent. Package and courier services provide us with the customer's name, e-mail address, telephone number and address details, supplemented with the nature/description of the goods to be transported. We never sell your data to third parties.
The right to oblivion
A customer has the right to inspect, correct, supplement or delete his data. It is possible to honour a request for forgetting, as long as this does not contradict the legal retention period of certain accounting data. Some of your data may still need to be kept for a while. In order to prevent misuse and to ensure that your data does not fall into the wrong hands, we will ask those who wish to exercise this right to identify themselves adequately.
